We were called by social services, asking to take on a project helping a client suffering with severe bipolar. We attended the property and spent some time reassuring the client who was nervous about us clearing out their property.

On arrival, the client was struggling and seemed quite agitated. We took the time to talk to the client, allowed them to express their concerns, and then reassured them until they agreed to go ahead with the house clearance project.

This was our first project dealing with a client suffering with a bipolar disorder, but an empathetic ear and a calm demeanour seemed to help with the task at hand.
